Six Divisions: Newcomer, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, All-Star, Invitational

A fun leveled competition where dancers get to choose their dance partner. No choreography is allowed. Let loose and show off your spontaneity and creativity.

Generational Strictly

Masters is a competition in which dancers age 50+ are paired randomly with a partner.

The competition will be divided into two groups: Group A - Newcomer, Novice and Intermediate

Group B -Open Division WSDC Points Awarded

Country Swing/ Dance Hall Strictly

Generational Strictly

Generational Strictly is a competition in which dancers will sign up as a couple with an age difference of at least 20 years. (no divisional restrictions)

HIgh Low Jack and Jill

A fun competition where you are randomly paired with a dancer in another level. Show off your technique, connection, teamwork and creativity. Divisions: Intermediate or below paired with Advanced or above.

CSC & CCC are proud to offer workshops, Jack and Jills, and a Strictly Swing Competition for our Country Swing/ Dance Hall dancers!!! We are bringing in some of the best local and out of town staff to teach our workshops and judge our competitions. Check out some of the details below!

Country Remix

Russ Bradchulis and Souraya Lorenz run Country Remix SD, the largest country social dance night in Southern California! It's hosted at Starlight Dance Studio every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays.

Country Kickup

Are a fundraising platform: focused on providing awareness and support for charitable causes in the community around us, through teaching country Swing & Line dancing. All the while, building up the community, helping with personal development, & helping others create connections off and on the dance floor.

What is a "Fun Comp"

Fun Competitions are non WSDC or UCWD events. Therefore you cannot earn any point on these events.

These competitions include -

Country Swing Jack and Jill (Dance Hall)
High Low Jack and Jill

SATURDAY

Generational Strictly
Country Swing Strictly (Dance Hall)

SUNDAY

Country Two Step (Just Dance) Strictly

*** Note - The Masters A division is not a pointed event but is not included under the "Fun Comp" category.

A full weekend pass or Day Pass will allow you to compete in any of the Fun Comps. Entry fees still required to compete.

Which competitions are pointed

On the schedule you will see it marked with a UCWDC or WSDC to indicate a pointed/ sanctioned event.

This includes any WCS Strictlies - They are considered a WSDC sanctioned event even though you do not receive points and will be required to purchase a full weekend pass to register.

When is Competition Registration Cut off?

Friday -

4PM - Master A and B and all Strictly Swing.

7PM - Country Swing JnJ

Advanced & AllStar JnJ

Saturday -

1PM - All Jack and Jill Competitions

Generational Strictly Swing

7PM - Country Swing Strictly

Sunday -

11:30AM - All Comps
